Welcome to FavorGrace Wellness Clinic. We recognize and appreciate your decision to seek mental health care by enrolling with us. We strive to ensure that you receive prompt, compassionate and consistent treatment guided by evidence-based practice, therapeutic listening, psychoeducation, and recognition of full patient autonomy.
As a practicing nurse, the above are values that have guided how I have taken care of patients at the bedside for over a decade. Patients want to be heard, and they want to be provided with care, which is personable but compassionate and responsive to the therapeutic reasons for which they seek treatment. It is our hope to make your experience with us, nothing less.

James Tutu Fiske, DNP-PSYCHIATRY

James T. Fiske has worked as a Board-Certified psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2020. He obtained his education and training from the University of Arizona with honors. Since then, he has worked in the areas of substance abuse and as a crisis provider. After completing his doctorate, he briefly enrolled into the Georgetown University certificate FNP program for a semester where he honorably completed courses in the ethics and professional practice of advanced nursing practitioners. His practice philosophy is active listening and psychoeducation to ensure patient autonomy in decision making.
Other than work, James takes time off with family and church. He is an avid traveler and enjoys interacting with people of different cultures. Some of his hobbies include reading and watching current events on the news as well as on varying social media platforms.

History & Philosophy
History
FavorGrace Wellness was the collective brainchild of the CEO and clinical manager, both having the desire to assist people with mental health challenges. There were two considerations that drove the decision to create the wellness clinic. The first was research, which shows that about a million (one out of every five) Minnesotans have mental health challenges. The second is research, which shows that over 80 percent of Minnesota counties have significant shortage of mental health institutions and professionals. These findings plus the fact that people are genuinely seeking help but may lack access guarded the impetus to establish this psychiatric wellness clinic.
Philosophy
The guiding philosophy of the FavorGrace Wellness clinic is that everyone who needs psychiatric help should have access to quality treatment that is guided by the ethical principles of:
- Autonomy – the ability to make informed decisions about what care you receive of chose to reject.
- Beneficence – being able to take ethical steps to benefit patient’s welfare.
- Informed consent – providing the necessary psychoeducation required for patients to know exactly why they are accepting or refusing treatment.
- Confidentiality – ensuring that patient’s information receives that necessary protection in addition to the requirements of HIPAA
Our Goals, Objectives , & Mission Statement
Goals
The eventual outcome we hope to achieve is to make FavorGrace Wellness Clinic a competitive household name when it comes to delivering compassionate psychiatric care. Achieving this would require in-patient treatment services and maintaining a culture that is compliant with national and local rules that guide practice standards.
Objectives
To achieve the outlined goals would require that patient satisfaction with our services consistently remain over 90% over the next six months. We will also strive to maintain a support system to ensure that services are not paused after a clinical encounter but that continue with follow-up calls to encourage over 50% compliance with treatment recommendations.
Mission Statement
We want to be known as that service that was able to listen with compassion and remained consistent in our desire to heal.
